Why We Give
Everything we have is a gift from the Lord. Scripture says that we “know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ” (2 Corinthians 8:9) and this refers not only to an informed mind but an inflamed heart. It is an experiential understanding of who Jesus is and what Jesus has done for us.
“…though [Jesus] was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich” (2 Corinthians 8:9).
The death and resurrection of Jesus represent the most generous gift ever given–when the King of Glory gave up everything in order to reconcile us to God. Giving cheerfully, sacrificially, and consistently is a part of our worship. When we are generous with others, we remind one another of the great generosity of our good God.
Giving Options
Our church provides a few different options for you to contribute financially to enable the church and our partners to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus. We are a 501(c)3 organization, and all contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
Online
Online giving is a fast and convenient way to give to the church. If you plan on regularly giving through our online option, here are a few things to note:
Once you click the “Give Online” button below, make sure to log in to access your information.
You can give with a credit/debit card. With this option, Sojourn is charged 2.15% + $0.30 per individual offering.
You can also give via an ACH bank transfer. With this option, Sojourn is charged a flat fee of $0.25 per individual offering.
Auto Bill Pay

Sunday Worship
You'll notice that we don't pass an offering plate or set aside a specific time to collect an offering during our Gathered Worship. We instead have an open invitation to give at anytime before, during, or after the service. You may use the giving boxes located in the back of the Auditorium and in the Welcome Foyer. Cash or check only. If you'd like to receive a tax deduction for cash gifts, the gift should be placed in an offering envelope with your name and address on it. Offering envelopes can be found in the pews and at the giving boxes.
Credit Disclaimer:
If you are currently in debt or have had a history of debt problems, please do not use your credit card to give to the church.
